6 Time Saving Kitchen Tips for Busy Girls

This is a Guest post by Gracie

Whether you're a mom, child, or hopeful cook, being in the kitchen requires a lot of time and energy no matter what you're doing or preparing. A great kitchen usually has lots of space, great energy and tools to help you create great meals. Here are some great time saving tips in the kitchen for busy girls:

1.Stock your pantry well:
One problem many people face is that they don't have all of the ingredients to make a meal, but also don't have time to go get that ingredient. Make sure you buy a weekly or biweekly supply of food and always keep your fridge and pantry stoked. If you're very busy, you can cook up something pre-made or create something easy with what you have in your pantry.

2. Get kids to help:
Kids of young age love helping in the kitchen. You can ask them to do things like cleaning dishes, wiping counters, or even mixing a food item. These little tasks will save you time and help you out in the long run. 3. Use a crock pot: If you don't have enough time to stand over an oven or a pan cooking, you can always buy a crock pot and make dishes in there without having to be there. Simply combine all of the food items in the morning and wait for it to prepare by dinner.

4. Always preheat the oven:
This may seem simple, but many people forget to preheat their ovens and then have to wait extra time for it to be ready. Set your oven before or while you're putting the food together to save tons of time!

5. Plan meals:
A lot of on the go girls don't know what to make for dinner, and then have to think of a meal on the spot. Prepare your meal plans before hand when you're not as busy and then be ready to make it later on. It's an easy way to save time and be positive in what you're cooking.

6. Clean pots with vinegar:
An easy way to save time washing dirty and hard to scrub dishes is to boil a little vinegar and water in the pan. It won't take long and help you to complete your work earlier.
